Mail Out Project. March 2020.

In the spirit of global solidarity I'm going to post a piece of my work to the first person who asks from each and every country in the world.

If you are interested DM me the country you live in and if you are the first person to contact me from your country I'll send you an A6 artwork. That's it.

Only one picture per country. I will cover the costs and recipients are not obliged to do anything in return (although if you want to send me a picture of the work in it's final destination it would be very well received.)

I have no idea how long it will take me to find recipients in every country of the world (if indeed it is even possible at all; I think it's safe to say I haven't got many Instagram followers in North Korea). I think it's unlikely I'll reach my target in 2020; it's going to be a marathon not a sprint.

Please take a look at the list of countries that I've already posted to (below), it’s up to 61/200. If your country isn’t on the ‘claimed’ list then drop me a message and I’ll send you a piece of work. :)

I have always liked mail art. Like putting a message in a bottle; sending a piece of art out into the world is an appealing one. Relinquishing control and allowing my work to have a life beyond my studio (whatever that may be) is also infinitely better than putting it in a drawer.
